Topic School and modern day realities

Objectives Listening comprehension development/ new vocabulary boosting +

revision of the old vocabulary, vocabulary in use, opinion giving.

Group work – discussion board. Dispute on the topic – what it is to be done

to boost the position of a teacher in modern day society, then presenting the

result in the shape of a MIND-MAP

 

1 Students are able to discern the main idea of the interviews, can actively

use the given vocabulary in free speech

2 Students can arrange and participate in a discussion of the topic, using the

group work form of interactive study method

3 Students are able to analyse the reasons that have led to the situation and

organise the thoughts into the mind-map shape, later trying to come to con

clusions why this has happened

4 Students can manage to systematise the possible solutions to the problem,

discussing it in a panel form, then generalise them and organise the results

in the shape of PROBLEMS / SOLUTIONS GRID *cooperative work
