Week 1 Task 1

Tere!

Nice to see you here! You have learned Estonian already for a week and you have learned a lot!

By now you know in Estonian some common phrases, numerals, how to introduce yourself, how to say what time it is, what languages do yo speak and where you are from.

You are welcome to practise these things in Keeleklikk (https://www.keeleklikk.ee/en/welcome):

1.2.1 ­– 1.3.25 Common phrases: Greetings, Good-byes, days of week, months

The task for this week is to write me a little letter (Click the green „Answer“ button on the right on the screen).

In the letter:

• Greet me.
• Introduce yourself (write your first name and surname).
• Write where you are from.
• Write which languages you speak.
• Write your phone number (I promise not to call you but if you don't want to write your real number, use a made-up one.)
• Write what day of the week is it today and what time is it.
• Ask me a question about some language I may speak (e.g Do you speak Spanish?)
• Say goodbye and write your name.
• Add today's date, like that 11. veebruar 2016.
